Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances. Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When possible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinoi
S: Illinois River at La Grange LD. Illinois River at Valley City. Illinois River at Hardin. Illinois River at Meredosia. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Illinois River at Hardin.
When: Until Monday afternoon.
Additional Details: - At 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 25.9 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 26.2 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
