Description

What: Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: A portion of western Kentucky, including the following counties, Caldwell, Calloway, Crittenden, Daviess, Henderson, Hopkins, Lyon, Marshall, McLean, Union and Webster.
When: Until 145 PM CST.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 1044 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Evansville, Owensboro, Henderson, Madisonville, Murray, Mount Vernon, Princeton, Benton, Morganfield, Providence, Marion, Dawson Springs, Calvert City, Eddyville, Sturgis, Calhoun, Breckinridge Center, Cravens Bay Campground, Woodlands Nature Station and Demumbers Bay Campground. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
