I had the privilege to see a unique kind of Jacob's Ladder or focused beam of sun light ~7:30- 8 pm at our farm near Jackson west of Owen Sound, Ontario. The beam of sunlight appears as if it is focused through a natural cloud tunnel . This was just before some thunderstorms came over the area. The picture is taken towards the west. I also took the opportunity to make a 7 1/2 minute video of this event if it is of use showing the cloud movements and occasional distant lightning
