On Wednesday Oct 15 2014, I was at Middle Cove Beach by 6:30am to get some pictures off swell generated waves. I like to use the Golden Hour [The Hour Before Sunrise] to practice one of my favorite camera affects [The Blurring Affect]. This is the result of that practice. Due to the ever increasing swell activity I had to move my camera back twice as the waves were beginning to lap at my feet. Blurring gives the ocean an almost calming look belying the aggressive nature that lies underneath.
