This was the second day to photograph an unusual visitor, an Orchard Oriole, May 11th. The Baltimore Orioles have been plentiful each year but it has been a real treat to be able to observe and photograph this other type of Oriole as well. As shown in several pictures it has a much darker chestnut colour chest and undercarriage and a black tail. Today it had moved from its location of yesterday but I found it singing, partially hidden in the new greenery.
