...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas...Verdigris River at Independence affecting Montgomery and WilsonCounties.Verdigris River at Altoona affecting Wilson County.Verdigris River at Coffeyville affecting Montgomery County.* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Verdigris River at Coffeyville.* WHEN...From this morning to late Wednesday morning.* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Outside the levee system, the intersectionof River Road and Stark Street floods. Flood waters expand to 1/4of mile eastward on Stark Street.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 14.8 feet.- Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stagelate this morning to a crest of 23.0 feet just after midnighttonight. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesdayafternoon.- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
